Oedipus Redux OR "Which Man is That in My Bed?"

Coming up on October 23 & 24, at 7 p.m., at Black C Art Gallery...

We would like to invite you to an experimental adaptation of OEDIPUS REX that is happening this month in Gainesville at the Black C Art Gallery entitled, OEDIPUS REDUX or "Which Man is That in My Bed?" For two nights only, this special reading is a marriage of art forms to discover the impact that a great piece of literature like this can have. It is not a strict adaptation by any means but an exploration of the emotions that Sophocles invokes through his story.

Warhol Caldwell, writer and actor, will be taking the stage with this original piece. She is joined by guitarist Chuck Martin, who will be accenting the story with underscore, plinks, zaps and strums, which will culminate into an orchestration of this Greek tragedy.
